Debbie Blanchard, a professional bass angler, journalist, and educator became a competitive angler in 1995 along with her husband Tim. Fishing as a pro and as an active team partner with her husband, she has demonstrated the ability to achieve consistent top ten finishes. She has consistently qualified for year-end regional and invitational events in multiple major bass fishing organizations. After decades of working in the health care industry as a Surgical Registered Nurse Educator she enjoys her new role in the fishing industry to preserve and enhance the sport of bass fishing. She supports established guidelines and embraces the highest standards of ethics and stewardship. Debbie is an advocate for environmental protection and conservation and enhancement of the natural resources. She is an active member of the Association of B.A.S.S. Professionals, W.O.N. Bass, Walmart Everstart Series, Anglers Choice and American Bass Association. As the sport of bass fishing continues to expand, Debbie has dedicated her life to professional fishing via the various tournament trails.

As one of the few women competing as a Pro on the West Coast, Debbies journal articles have been featured in national news publication and on several web sites. With her tournament fishing experience, she provides a fresh insightful perspective into the art of Pro-Am events and Team Oriented Tactics. Her successful tournament achievements have appeared in national bass fishing magazines and publications such as Western Outdoor News, American Bass Association, and her home town paper, Todays News Herald.
